You are in the right place if you want more information about the Lamorinda School Bus or if you are ready to purchase a bus pass! The Lamorinda School Bus Program provides home-to-school bus transportation to 1500 students on twenty-one buses attending twelve schools in the Lafayette, Moraga, Orinda Union and Acalanes Union High School Districts. Annual Bus Pass
All students must have a bus pass in order to ride. The Annual Bus Pass allows your student to ride all year - Round Trip, AM Only or PM Only. When you purchase a bus pass online, you'll receive a confirmation email which can be printed and used as a temporary bus pass until your laminated bus pass arrives in the mail. You must know your route number and bus stop to sign up. SeeLafayette/Moraga Routes or Orinda Routes.
Payment and Parent Fees
Full payment is due when registering online. Prices are PRO-RATED based on the month you sign up. Payment plans can be
arranged by contacting us. Free or Reduced Transportation is available for

Pro-rated refunds are available for the Annual Bus Pass with a $25.00
processing fee. The processing fee is waived if you cancel before the
start of school. Pro-rated refunds are based upon the date you
return the bus pass to us. Please include your credit card number and
expiration date along with the bus pass as our system does not keep the information. One Trip Pass
One Trip Passes
are $3.00 each and valid for one ride only. These passes work well for occasional use or for play dates. One Trip Passes can be purchased online, but allow three working days to deliver by US mail. You may also purchase passes at our Lafayette office, 3675 Mt. Diablo Blvd., Suite 255, Lafayette, CA. School sites have a few on hand for emergencies only. One Trip passes are not accepted on full routes; your student may be denied transportation.UPDATE: OIS is no longer selling One Trip Passes at school.
How to Use a different Route or Bus Stop
If your student has an Annual Bus Pass, please write a note to the driver for each occasion granting permission to use a different route or bus stop. If you don't have an Annual Bus Pass, please purchase a One Trip Pass in advance.
Late Buses and Text Messaging
Late Bus? Call First Student dispatch at 925-363-7327. Annual Bus Pass holders are eligible to participate in our text messaging service. We'll text you if your bus is running 15 minutes late. View our text messaging policy here. Note: Some cell phone carriers may block our texts. Contact us for instructions to unblock your phone. Contact your phone carrier for any continued issues.
