The LSBP is pleased to announce it will run two buses AM ONLY to Miramonte High School next year. Route 16 will serve the Tahos/Overhill/Glorietta area and Route 17 will serve the Down/Sleepy Hollow area.
GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT THE SCHOOL BUS
The LSBP provides daily school bus service to nearly 1800 K-8 students in the Lafayette, Moraga, Orinda and Acalanes Union School Districts. The program is run by a Joint Powers Authority (JPA), comprised of elected officials from the three cities and four school districts in Lamorinda. The purpose of the program is to reduce traffic congestion and to provide safe, convenient and reliable home-to-school transportation. DURHAM SCHOOL SERVICES, under contract to the JPA, provides daily school bus service on 22 buses to 11 participating schools.
